Naturally due to COVID-19 19, Christmas 2020 was different. But, that did not stop us from having a very special Christmas season!
We enjoyed decorating early in December, caroling (by over 40 staff members), countless goodies & lots of chocolate, Christmas games, a visit from Santa and Rudolph, and many classic Christmas movies. Our elders enjoyed having a Christmas photo taken to send to their families. Staff and residents dressed up for Christmas shirt & hat, and pajama days and it was common to hear Christmas singing daily. On Christmas day we dined on prime rib and received gifts from our families and stockings filled with an assortment of old fashioned gifts and candy, an orange and even coal! We ended the month by holding a clinic for our residents and staff to receive their COVID-19 19 vaccine. Now, we are looking forward to a new year, with new hope and the same strong sense of family. From our home to yours, HAPPY NEW YEAR! |
