Our Story

Founded in 1970, Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility is a skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center offering long term care, short term rehab, and physical, occupational, speech, respiratory, and IV therapies. We are also able to provide two Certified Wound Care Specialists trained to care for surgical wounds as well as Decubitus Ulcers. The facility has an excellent activity program specializing in individual relationships and activities to meet each residents needs. We are conveniently located adjacent to downtown Hillsdale, Michigan and just minutes from physician offices and our acute care hospital. Our facility is an Eden Alternative ™ registered site.

Meet The Team

Hometown Physicians

The Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility utilizes the care of doctors from our own neighborhood. We believe that inviting these hometown physicians to care for you or your loved one creates an opportunity to receive a more personalized care experience. We do not use hospitalists in our facility, and you or your loved one has most likely already seen one of our doctors. This provides the opportunity, in some cases, to keep the same provider while staying in one of our neighborhoods. This is one more reason that our facility feels like home!
